Bristlecone Hat $70

​​Designed by the wonderful folks at the now-defunct Fancy Tiger co-op, this hat can be made in sizes from baby to adult. While the free pattern can no longer be found online, copies will be provided. The textured "bristlecone stitch" is easy to learn, and class participants have the choice to work a single brim or learn how to make the fixed-in-place double layer version.

Emotional Support Chicken $115

​​Learn to knit the fun and popular pattern by designer Annette Corsino. The chicken is knitted in worsted weight yarn, though you may decide to work future chickens in heavier or lighter weight to create a flock with varying sized birds.
​
Included in the class: a multi page supplement to the pattern (which is purchased separately), a pair of plastic eyes, and a free pattern for a knitted chick.

Fixing Knitting Mistakes $35

​​Back, by popular demand! We will delve into the structure of knitted fabric and how this knowledge helps in fixing mistakes. Participants will learn and practice skills including: identify which stitch was done in previous rows, spot incorrect stitches, repair a dropped stitch, un-knit without twisting stitches, and more.

Pom Pom Workshop $40

Of course Pompoms are classic hat toppers, but they can also be fun additions to scarves, ponchos, the cords of hoodies, ear flaps of aviator hats, and more. They can be strung into festive garlands or crafted into cute earrings. What will you do with yours?

Participants will use pompom maker tools to create tiny pompoms less than 1 inch across, rather large ones over 3 inches, and in-between sizes.
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
​​Skill level: Anyone! No prior experience with yarn is needed to make pompoms.
Yarn will be provided, and you are also welcome to bring some of your own, if you wish.

Baby/Toddler Sweater​ $115

Make a raglan-sleeve cardigan sweater with buttons; cable details are optional. This basic pattern can be customized by using several colors or even adding embroidery. For a light summer sweater, try a cotton/merino blend. Sizes from 3 months to 4 years.

​This type of sweater construction is common for adults and children, making it a great project for the first-timer who desires knowledge they can apply to future sweaters for everyone.
Skill level: Advanced beginner You have made a couple of different things, perhaps a hat and a blanket, scarf or mittens.​​
